QUETTA, Feb 26: Police foiled on Saturday an attempt to blow up a main pipeline in Dera Murad Jamali which supplies gas to the Uch power plant, according to sources.
A police contingent raided the area along the Rabi canal and seized 10kg of explosives planted under the 24-inch diameter pipeline.
Two landmines were defused in Nokhani area of Dera Bugti, apparently planted to attack security personnel. —Staff Correspondent
