OKARA, Feb 3: Police have arrested two brothers who allegedly strangled their sister and the brother-in-law for contracting love marriage.
Ahmad Hasan of Koray Sial village and Sobia of the same village defied their families and contracted court marriage some time ago.Sobia's brothers Gulzar and Intizar took this decision of their sister as something most ignominious for them. Gulzar, Intizar and their alleged accomplices Abdul Ghaffar, Khalid and Aslam Dogar kidnapped Hasan and Sobia, took them to Kasur, drugged them and strangled them.
They threw Hasan's body in the main canal and Sobia's in the Rohi drain near Kasur.
The police arrested Gulzar and Intizar after they found Sobia's body. However, the police were still searching for Ghaffar, Khalid and Dogar as well as the body of Hasan. —Correspondent
