FBI team interrogates Indian suspects

NEW DELHI, Feb 22: An FBI team questioned for several hours Fahim Ansari and Sabauddin, Indians suspected to be involved in the late November Mumbai attacks, according to media reports.

Reports quoting officials said on Sunday some Indian security officials were present during the interrogation.

The two suspects had been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police.

Meanwhile, a special public prosecutor told media personnel that charges would be filed within the next three days against Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving gunman of the terrorist attacks.

Ujjwal Nikam said the indictment papers would be filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate in the Esplanade court and the trial would be conducted in the Arthur Road jail.

The court official said that all formalities had been completed for the trial and final touches were being given to the chargesheet.—APP
