NEW DELHI, Jan 25: India said on Sunday that security of Pakistan High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik had been enhanced following a threatening letter received by the commission.
Media reports quoting official sources said a request from the Pakistan High commission had been received six days ago after which necessary action was taken.
It has been reported that the commission asked the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to ensure safety of the high commissioner and officials of the mission.—APP
