MIRAMSHAH, Jan 22: The body of an alleged US spy was found in the Derpakhel area of the North Waziristan Agency on Thursday, residents said.
The deceased was identified as Noor Farid, who had been kidnapped in Miramshah a few days ago. The local people said the culprits had thrown the body on the road in Pir Kali.
Militants had also shot dead four locals and two Afghan nationals in the region on Tuesday last on the charge of spying for the US.
