KARACHI, Jan 13: Koji Hyodo has taken over the office of vice-chairman at Indus Motor Company (IMC) effective from Jan 1, 2009.

Mr Hyodo, who was earlier transferred to IMC from Toyota Motor Corporation in mid 2008, was serving as adviser to vice-chairman and was elected as a director to the IMC board in at extra-ordinary general meeting in October 2008.

He replaces Y Arae, who had been the vice-chairman of the company since October 1996. Mr Y Arae will now assume the responsibility of adviser to chairman IMC, says a press release.
