KHAR, Jan 11: Militants chopped off the ears of five members of the Khar peace committee here on Saturday night.

Doctors at the Bajaur agency headquarters hospital said they were treating Shireen, Mohammad Khan, Jehangir, Behram and Bacha Mir Khan.

The peace committee was set up to prevent militants’ entry into the town.

The victims said that about 40 people attacked their post and disarmed them.

They took them to an unidentified place and cut their ears off.
