24 workers rounded up

KHAIRPUR, Jan 4: Police on Sunday arrested at least 24 activists of the Sindh National Front in Khairpur and Thatta districts.

Police arrested 18 local leaders and workers of the SNF from different parts of Khairpur district. According to SNF sources, police conducted raids in Setharja, Faiz Gunj, Nara, Ahmedpur and other areas and arrested 18 workers.

Our Thatta correspondent adds: The Thatta police in late-night raids in Sujawal and Mirpur Bathoro arrested six SNF office-bearers, including its district president Dada Shoro.

They have been lodged at the Jhoke Sharif police lock-up.
