KGS beat Bay View 4-0

KARACHI, Dec 30: Lyceum School, Bay View High, BVS Parsi High School, Karachi Grammar School (KGS), St Patricks High School, Army Public School and Foundation Public School have all reached the quarter-finals of Karachi United (KU) School Football Championship.

Lyceum beat City School PAF 2-0. Lyceum’s striker Hisam scored the first goal (12th minute) and midfielder Dominic scored the second (25th minute).

In another match, Civilization Public School held Southshore School to a 1-1 draw. Striker Abdul Rehman scored for Civilization in the 43rd minute and Southshore’s left-winger Ibrahim Arif equalised in the 59th.

Meanwhile, KGS beat Bay View 4-0. The goals were scored by Zaid Kerai (16th minute), Mustafa (41st minute), Ali Bhani (44th minute) and Usman Saad (52nd minute).

The last match of the day was played between Beaconhouse Gulshan and BVS Parsi High School. BVS scored three goals one after the other in the 43rd, 51st and 57th minutes through Muddasar Malik, Anas Aftab and Sufiyan Sattar, respectively.

The 59th minute saw striker Abdullah Siddiqui scoring the consolation goal for Beaconhouse. —Sports Reporter
