ISLAMABAD, Dec 28: Muharram moon was not sighted anywhere in the country on Sunday and the month begins on Tuesday.
The Ruet-i-Hilal committee announced after a meeting that the Islamic year 1430 would begin on Dec 30 and the Yaum-i-Ashur would be observed on
Jan 8.
The committee’s chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman presided over the meeting.—APP
