JACOBABAD: ‘No increase in prices of medicines’

By Our Correspondent

JACOBABAD, Dec 28: Federal Health Minister Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani said on Sunday that prices of medicines would not be increased as the government wanted to provide relief to the poor.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of a dental unit in the civil hospital, the minister said that the condition of hospitals would be improved and more medicines would be provided to them.

He said India was wrongly blaming Pakistan and if India had any evidence it should be provided to Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan did not want war but if war was imposed, the armed forces, the government and the people of Pakistan were ready to give a befitting reply to India and defend their homeland.

He said that the United Nations had started an inquiry into the murder of the PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto.
