KARACHI, Dec 27: Two youths were wounded when armed muggers shot them in Block 6, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, on Saturday.

The muggers, riding bikes, tried to snatch mobile phones from Kabir, 20, and Laareb, 26, but the youths offered resistance. The muggers shot and wounded the victims and fled.

In another incident, two employees of a catering company, Altaf, 26, and Javed, 18 sustained 50 per cent burns while cooking food for a wedding party at the YMCA Ground in Saddar area.—PPI
