Forex scam accused arrested

GUJRANWALA, Dec 25: Police on Thursday arrested a man involved in a forex company scam.

On a tip-off, a police party led by Station House Officer (SHO) Gohar Bhatti conducted a raid and arrested Muhammad Khalid from Model Town Market.

Khalid along with his brother, Chand Pervaiz, and one Asim Karim had established a forex company named Still Rich a few years ago and started their business in Gulberg, Lahore, and Wapda Town, Gujranwala.

It is learnt that the accused jointly committed a fraud of $3.5 million.

Chand Pervaiz is already in NAB’s custody, while Khalid had been absconding for long.
