KARACHI, Dec 24: Saifullah’s half-century and Israr-ul-Haq’s four-wicket haul steered Zone-I Whites to a massive 162-run win over Zone-VII Blues in the KCCA Inter-zonal Under-19 cricket tournament at the Student Ground the other day.
Saif cracked nine fours in his 85 and Osama Arif made 45 with five boundaries as Zone-I Whites, batting first, piled up 300 for nine in the allotted 50 overs.
Israr grabbed four wickets for 28 as Zone-VII Blues crashed to 138 all out in 32.5 overs.
Meanwhile, Zone-III Whites outplayed Zone-VI Blues by seven wickets in a low-scoring match at the TMC Ground.
In another match played at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground, Zone-V Whites defeated Zone-IV Blues by five wickets.
