Indian seniors cancel tour

KARACHI, Dec 24: The Indian seniors cricket team have cancelled their Pakistan tour that was scheduled to start on Feb 21, 2009, the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) announced on Wednesday.

“The tour of Indian seniors has been put off till the tension between two countries settles down,” PVCA chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan said.

Veteran cricket associations of Pakistan and India launched the tours in 2005 when Pakistan visited India.

Fawad added plans (regarding the resumption of cricket) will be announced as per the development of the situation.—APP
