KARACHI, Dec 19: Karachi Club ‘A’ and Area Snooker Club fought their way into the final of the 2nd KC Inter-club Snooker Team Event with emphatic victories over their opponent’s in the semi-finals on Friday.

Led by Naveen Perwani, Karachi Club ‘A’ chalked up 4-2 victory over Snooker Zone while Area Snooker Club inflicted 5-1 defeat on Time Snooker Club at the KC premises.

Earlier, the Karachi Club ‘A’ suffered a shock 2-4 defeat at the hands of Time Snooker Club in their last group ‘A’ clash the other day to determine group leaders. The upset results brought the two teams on even kneel with 16 points apiece.

However, Vishan Gir beat Umair Alam 65-56 in the one deciding frame to top group ‘A’.

The other finalist, Area Snooker Club, had also suffered a shock 2-4 defeat at the hands of Snooker Zone in the group ‘B’ opener.
