LAHORE, Dec 19: Governor Salmaan Taseer says it is time to decide once for all the powers of an acting governor.

He was talking to newsmen on Friday after visiting Lahore PPP president Haji Azizrur Rahman Chan admitted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.

Mr Taseer said he had no conflict with the provincial government as he was only advising it on various issues.

He said he was aware of the case of Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s migration to a local medical college and stressed that the

PML-N chief (also being guilty of an irregularity in the college admission) should now stop exploiting the Farah Dogar case.
