KARACHI, Dec 18: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Under-17 hockey coaching camp begins in Khairpur from Friday.

Organised by District Hockey Association (DHA) Khairpur, the 10-day camp is part of NBP’s talent hunt programme, now in its sixth year, that set up 17 camps all over Pakistan, including this one, in 2008.

In Sindh, camps were held in Mirpukhas, Larkana, Sukkur for women and in Karachi for boys.

The 30 trainees selected for camp will all be provided with full kits. They will be provided coaching by international fullback Ehteshan Ali Warsi with Zakir Ali Zaidi fulfilling the duty of physical instructor. They would also be attending classes on umpiring and other technical aspects of the game.
