KC ‘A’ beat Aga Khan Gymkhana

KARACHI, Dec 17: Formidable Karachi Club ‘A’ opened its account registering a thumping 7-0 victory over Aga Khan Gymkhana in the 2nd KC Inter-club Snooker Team Event at the KC premises on Tuesday.

The KC ‘A’ having in its fold Naveen Perwani, Vishan Gir, Qasim Kamani and Asim Ghani won all their six frames which earned them an additional bonus point.

Karachi Club ‘B’, the second outfit, also continued its winning run by getting the better of Snooker Zone 4-2. They had beaten Karachi Gymkhana by the identical margin in the opener.

In another match, Area Snooker Club which suffered a shock 2-4 defeat at the hands of Snooker Zone on Monday bounced back to post 7-0 victory over Karachi Gymkhana.

T bt Naseem Paracha and Habib 57-3; Ahmad Saleem bt Ahsan Raza 62-18; Baqar Kamani bt Naseem Paracha 61-47; Ali Majeed S. T bt Najam-ur-Rehman 72-29; Farhan Idrees lost to Sunny Shahani 41-53).
