KARACHI: Saarc simulation exercise

KARACHI, Dec 17: The Saarc simulation exercise was enormously successful and will act as a catalyst for further such exercises in future. It will help foster a culture of dialogue and discussion in the South Asia region.

This was observed on Wednesday by Richard Asbeck, resident representative of the Hanns Siedel Foundation, while speaking at the concluding session of the two-day event organized by the Karachi University’s Department of International Relations in collaboration with the foundation.

Prof Dr Moonis Ahmar, chairman of the department, said that the success of the simulation exercise reflected the fact that there was every capability in our society to perform at the highest levels.

Dr Naeem Ahmed, chief coordinator of the event, thanked the participants for showing deep interest in the exercise.—APP
