BATKHELA: Blast damages house

BATKHELA, Dec 15: An improvised explosive device planted at the gate of a house here on Monday went off with a bang destroying the front portion of the apartment. However, no casualty was reported.

Residents said the house, belonging to Bashir, was located at the backside of the district headquarters hospital Batkhela. The blast created panic among the dwellers, and broke the windowpanes of several nearby houses.

The house owner was taken into custody by the Malakand Levies. — Correspondent
