Man kills wife on suspicion

SHIKARPUR, Dec 13: A man took the life of his wife on the allegation of karo-kari in Garhi Yasin taluka on Saturday.

Police said that the accused Gaji Khan Shar and his three brothers Bhai Khan, Saifal, Bajhi and a nephew Yasin, residents of Ganang Wah Shar district Sukkur, entered into the house of Gajhi Khan and opened fire on Noorjehan with a TT pistol.

The woman died on the spot while the accused made good their escape.

Report said that the accused Gajhi Khan was suspecting his wife of infidelity.

Gaheja police had registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Ms Latifan, mother of deceased.

However, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.

TEENAGER KILLED: An 18-year-old lad, Iqdad Shar of Naushahro Abro succumbed to his injuries in the Civil Hospital Larkana on Saturday.

According to reports, the deceased had received injuries in firing by his rivals.

The deceased on Friday was returning home after visiting the Shikarpur hospital when he was waylaid by a group of armed Jehi tribesmen who opened fire on him near Naushaharo Link Road in the jurisdiction of Garhi Yasin police station.

Iqdad Shar received serious injuries and was referred to the Civil Hospital Larkana where he couldn’t survive.

The motive behind the murder was said to be an on-going dispute between Shar and Jeha tribesmen.

No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.
