Port Qasim

KARACHI, Dec 13: Two ships, carrying containers and diesel oil, arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim while one ship, to load and offload containers, berthed at the Qasim International Containers Terminal during the last 24 hours.

Six ships, Maersk Novazzano, Makran, Gemini-I, Rose-II, Process and Sea Sky, occupied berths to load and offload containers, cement, edible oil and furnace oil, respectively.

A total of 53,199 tons of cargo, comprising 42,128 tons of import cargo and 11,071 tons of export cargo, inclusive of containerised cargo (834 containers), was handled at the port.—APP
