MURREE, Dec 7: Four houses were damaged at Bansra Gali village when fire resulting from short circuiting of electricity engulfed them.
According to police, house of Ashram Mughal caught fire which spread in other three adjacent houses.
House items worth thousands of rupees were destroyed in the fire. However, inmates of the houses managed to escape.
A team of Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and controlled the fire after a struggle of one hour.
In another incident, store of a house of Gulfraz Abbasi at Abbasiabad near Jika Gali was burnt to ashes.
