KARACHI, Dec 6: Six more ships carrying containers, furnace oil and palm oil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Five ships, Maersk Novazzano, Rose-II, Makran, Yanaseni and Olympic were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, chemicals and palm oil.

A cargo volume of 35,756 tons comprising 16,708 tons of import and 19,048 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Yanaseni, Maersk Novazzano and Olympic sailed out.
