Gilani gets update on security

ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was briefed on the prevailing security situation by Director-General of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt-Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha on Friday.

The prime minister and General Pasha discussed the allegations levelled by Indian official circles and media, implicating the ISI in the Mumbai attacks. It was decided to take measures to negate the Indian propaganda and to explain Pakistan’s position internationally.

The security situation in tribal areas and parts of the NWFP was also discussed, sources said.
