LAHORE, Dec 5: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) amir Qazi Husain Ahmad says that handing over any Pakistani citizen to India on unjustified demands will be the worst kind of betrayal the nation will never accept.
Talking to reporters at Mansoorah here on Friday, the JI amir said if any Kashmiri freedom fighter or soldier or Jamaatud Daawa Amir Hafiz Muhammad Saeed was handed over to New Delhi, demands of handing over the Pakistani army chief could be made in future.
He said the nation would also rise against such measure by considering it a betrayal. He advised the government to adopt such a policy which should be in the best interests of Pakistan.
Qazi alleged that India was conspiring against Pakistan in the wake of Mumbai incidents and making baseless propaganda without giving any proof.
If Pakistani rulers bowed down before India, it would be a blunder similar to that Gen Musharraf made by bowing down before the United States after the 9/11 and the nation was still facing the results of that blunder.
