SHIKARPUR: Man shot dead

SHIKARPUR, Dec 5: A pickup driver was shot dead by his enemies near City Top hotel at Lakhi-Gate Suzuki stop here on Friday.

According to police, six armed men belonging attacked the pickup driver, Mohammad Sachal Buriro, a resident of Mehar Shah Qubo Mohalla Shikarpur and swiftly fled after killing him.

The deceased was waiting at the bus stop to carry passengers for Garhi Yasin town.

The motive behind the murder is said to be an old enmity over some karo kari matter.

On the complaint of Irfan Ahmed Buriro, the nephew of the deceased, Lakhi Gate police registered an FIR against six persons including Abdul Latif, Muhammad Saleh, Tanveer Ahmed and Abbas, Ali Hassan and Ghulam Ali Buriro.
