SUKKUR : Shopkeeper kidnapped

SUKKUR, Dec 5: A Hindu shopkeeper was kidnapped by armed dacoits from the National Highway near Mahesaro district Ghotki late on Thursday.

Shankar Lal of Wassan Shah Muhalla, Mirpur Mathelo had gone to attend a function in Rohri and went missing on his return.

His brother Amar Lal told police that Shankar had gone to Rohri and while returning took a lift in a private car and lost contact with him near Mahesaro. Police was investigating the matter but no case was registered.

BEHEADED BODY: Beheaded body of a boy was recovered from near village Peeral Shah situated in RD-45 police limits near Kashmore on Friday morning. The boy was kidnapped on Thursday night.

Reports said that 12-year-old Mohammad Sharif s/o Khawand Bux Shaikh was going home when went missing mysteriously.

The boy’s beheaded body was found on Friday morning near the village. Police shifted the body to Kashmore hospital.

According to hospital sources, the boy was slaughtered with a knife while police were still searching for the head.

Neither, reason for murder could be known nor a case registered till the filing of this report.
