Girl recovered

VEHARI, Nov 4: Luddan police claimed to have recovered a class-VII girl from a hideout at Chishtian, Bahawalnagar district, arresting two alleged kidnappers here on Thursday.

According to SHO Aslam Ghumman, the police raided the hideout on a tip-off and recovered Shazia, a seventh class student, from there and arrested two men. The police, however, did not disclose their names.

The SHO said the girl was recovered from the house of the prime accused Aslam alias Achha, who was still at large.

He said according to initial investigation the accused wanted to kidnap Shazia’s aunt Bakhan Mai, but 2she was not present in the house.

Meanwhile, Shazia, in her written statement submitted to the area magistrate and investigation SP Mohammad Kashif stated her aunt had relations with the main accused.—Correspondent
