KARACHI, Dec 4: The National Accountability Bureau has denied arrest of Lyari Development Authority (LDA) officials Nand Lal, Ameeer Younus and Shahid in a mega scam involving a contract of Hawkesbay Road.

A NAB official clarified that the report quoting it seemed to have been released to the press on a fake NAB letterhead.

An inquiry was under way to ascertain facts about the issuance of the fake press release, he said.—APP
