MUZAFFARGARH, Dec 1: Teachers have opposed the Punjab government action taken against high school headmasters on charges of ‘poor performance’ in matric results for 2008.
Talking to Dawn, many schoolteachers seeking anonymity said they were living in a state of fear and uncertainty after the Punjab government had taken action against a number of headmasters.
According to them, schools whose heads were sent packing lacked staff and other basic facilities.—Correspondent
