Port Qasim

KARACHI, Nov 29: Three ships scheduled to load, offload containers, cement and palm oil, were allotted berths at the Qasim International Container Terminal and Multi-Purpose Terminal, respectively, while two more ships carrying containers and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the last 24 hours.

Five ships Maersk Novazzano, Super Star-lll, Pearl River, Waffle Racer and CS Crane are currently occupying berths to load, offload containers, cement, wheat and palm oil, respectively, during the last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 43,495 tons, comprising 29,229 tons of import cargo and 14,266 tons of export cargo, inclusive of containerised cargo 1,767 containers (TEUs), was handled at the port.—APP
