ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: The Zil Hijjah moon was not sighted in any part of the country on Friday. Therefore, the first day of Eidul Azha will be Dec 9 (Tuesday).

An announcement to this effect was made by the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee after a meeting held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneebur Rahman.

Addressing reporters, Mufti Muneeb said the committee had not received any evidence about the sighting of the moon from anywhere in the country.
