LAHORE, Nov 28: Dania Khan defeated Anila in the girls’ under-19 semi-final of the National Junior badminton championship at the New Khan hall here on Saturday.

In the other semi-final, Monisha Kotiya proved too good for Sumaira, defeating her 21-12, 21-19.

The pairs of Sama / Saba Rasheed and and Dania / Anum entered the doubles final.

Sama and Saba Rasheed (Sindh) beat Fareeha Imtiaz and Hira Tahir (Punjab) 21-12, 20-22, 21-15 while Dania-Anum (Punjab) overcame Sofia Mughal-Tahira (Sindh) 21-9, 21-14.
