KARACHI, Nov 28: Four ships carrying containers and to load clinkers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed. They are: Vulturnus, to unload and load general cargo, Majestic, bulk carrier, Kota Lambang, Sima Sahba, Hyundai Qingdao, X-Press Khyber and TS Dammam to unload and load containers and Southern Unicorn, an oil tanker.

Five ships, City of Xaimen, Hyundai Duke, Southern Unicorn, Santa FE, Sima Sahba departed on Friday, while Vulturnus, TS Dammam, Xiang Cheng, X-Press Khyber, Global Prosperity and Eastmed Carrier are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 68,807 tons, comprising 29,121 tons of export cargo and 39,686 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Blida, to load 20,000 tons of clinker, Sima Yazd, Empress Phoenix and Green Valley, with containers.
