Unisame advocates insulation technology

KARACHI, Nov 28: The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (Unisame) has urged the government to replace the refrigerated trucks technology with insulation technology for cold chain system on top priority basis.

Insulation technology for cold chain replaces the refrigerated trucks technology with a chemical technology which makes transportation of products under chilling degrees.

The running cost can be 30 to 40 per cent cheaper than the conventional refrigerated technology that is used in Pakistan currently, the Unisame chief Zulfikar Thaver said.
