MIRPURKHAS, Nov 27: Office-bearers of different NGOs, Zahida Detho, Wajid Leghari and Kanji Rano Bheel advocate, met DIG Mirpurkhas zone Syed Zulfiqar Shah Jamote and DPO Muneer Ahmed Shaikh at the police complex on Wednesday to resolve the mystery of 78 missing peasants of Bheel caste.

The meeting discussed different aspects of the issue while office-bearers of the NGOs expressed dissatisfaction over the pace of investigation of SP investigation Mirpurkhas in the case of Nauabad police station and demanded to bring the 78 missing peasants before the media and NGOs.

DIG Mirpurkhas told the meeting he would send the report to provincial police officer with recommendations to transfer the investigation of the case to special crime branch which was working under the PPO.
