HYDERABAD: Suicide

Published November 28, 2008

HYDERABAD, Nov 27: A 20-year-old man committed suicide in Mahar Shah colony here on Thursday by hanging himself in his rented house.

Pervez was jobless and, according to police, a drug addict.

His body was handed over to Edhi volunteers.

Police traced his father Mohammad Ishaq, a fruit-seller, who told police that he had divorced the mother of Pervez a long time ago and he even did not know whether the deceased was his son.

He even did not participate in the burial which was performed by Edhi volunteers.—Staff Correspondent
