Nespak okays 50 per cent dividend

LAHORE, Nov 27: The board of directors of the National Engineering Services Pakistan has approved a dividend of 50 per cent to shareholders with performance bonus of two-and-a-half months salary to professionals and three-and-a-half months salary to workmen and staff members.

The board approved the record dividend and performance bonus at its annual meeting held here on Thursday with Federal Water and Power Secretary Mohammad Ismail Qureshi in the chair.

Managing Director Karamat Ullah Chaudhry informed the directors that Nespak had shown highest-ever turnover of Rs3.23 billion, business acquisition of Rs5.5 billion and Rs712 million pre-tax profit during its 35 years history.
