KARACHI, Nov 24: Sindh won the 15th National Boys’ Age Group swimming and second water polo championships with 35 gold medals at the PNS Karsaz pool on Sunday.Sindh finished at the top with 428 points. The NWFP remained second with 140 points and Punjab were third with 111 points.

Islamabad finished fourth with 63 points.

On the final day, Sindh added 11 gold, six silver and seven bronze medals, taking their tally of silver medals to 25 and bronze to 11.

In the water polo final, Sindh beat Punjab 8-1. Safi-ur-Rehman scored six goals and was declared the best player of the event with 21 goals.—APP
