DADU: Two bandits arrested

By Our Correspondent

DADU, Nov 24: Two bandits were arrested after an encounter at Dhamrah Wah on Indus Highway on Monday, claimed police.

Dadu DPO Pervez Ahmed Chandio told journalists that notorious dacoit Ayaz Khoonharo was going to Larkana along with his four accomplices. When their vehicle reached Dhamrah Wah, police tried to intercept it but they opened fire on police.

Police returned fire and, after a brief encounter, arrested Ayaz Khoonharo and Bakht Jatoi. Their three accomplices sped up the vehicle and escaped, the DPO said. He said that police recovered a Kalashnikov, a pistol and 200 bullets from those arrested.
