SUKKUR, Nov 22: Two minor girls were overrun by a pickup in Chachar Shaikh village in the jurisdiction of Sarhad police in Ghotki on Saturday.
Khadim Hussain Shaikh was reversing a pickup when his daughter Zameeran and another girl Rehma daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Shaikh, playing behind the vehicle came under its wheels and died on the spot.
The Sarhad police registered the case of an accident.
KILLED: A young man was put to death by armed persons allegedly over karo-kari dispute in Khadan village near Garhi Yasin on Friday.
Ghulam Haider Khakhrani was on way home when few armed persons shot him dead and fled.
Area police shifted the body to Madeji hospital for post-mortem.
Ghulam Hussain Khakhrani, brother of the deceased, lodged a case against three men, Mujeeb Jakhrani, Khalil Jakhrani and an unknown. However, no arrest could be made till the filing of this report.
Area people claimed the murder as an outcome of old karo-kari dispute.
