LAHORE, Nov 20: Punjab Police Inspector General Shaukat Javed on Thursday suspended Sargodha DSP (Legal) Tafazzal Hussain for allegedly misusing his powers, patronising criminals, harassing innocent people and implicating them in cases.
The IG ordered disciplinary proceedings against him.
According to a handout, the DSP was patronising seven people nominated in a case relating to cattle theft. The DSP pressured plaintiff Muhammad Rasheed to withdraw the case. —Staff Reporter
