SUKKUR, Nov 20: Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri on Thursday blamed outgoing governments for leaving behind a huge pile of problems. They even usurped Baitul Maal funds and left nothing for the next government, she added.

She said in her address to an open katchehry at the irrigation rest house in Ubauro that during nine-year tenure the past government left innumerable problems including shortage of water, power and unemployment and the present government was sincerely striving to solve them.

She said that the present government had come to power through people’s vote and was doing whatever it could to provide them relief but some anti-state elements were trying to destabilise it.

She said that by launching Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme, the government was trying to provide jobs to the unemployed youth.
