THATTA: 2,000 appear in test for training course

THATTA, Nov 20: Over 2,000 candidates appeared in written test for six-month on-job training course for 480 jobs in the education department at Makli Stadium on Thursday.

The training is being conducted under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme.

Aslam Mirbahar, district coordinator of education literacy course programme, said that successful candidates would be imparted six-month training in mathematics, science, English and primary IT and would be paid accordingly.

Some 400 girls also appeared in the test. Many candidates were found cheating conveniently under the ‘watchful eyes’ of the administration and personnel of Rangers and police.

CRUSHED: Juman Mirbahar, 10, was crushed to death by a speeding car at Makli incline on Thursday.
