Gibbs to join Glamorgan

CARDIFF (Wales), Nov 19: South Africa batsman Herschelle Gibbs on Wednesday agreed to join Glamorgan as their overseas player for the 2009 season. Gibbs played for the Welsh county in the Twenty20 Cup last year and replaces Australia pace-bowler Jason Gillespie as the overseas professional. “I’m really excited about returning to Glamorgan,” Gibbs said.—AFP
