KARACHI: Robbers nabbed

KARACHI, Nov 19: Police nabbed two alleged criminals while they were busy snatching cellphones from passengers in a bus.

Police said the suspects started robbing the Lucky Coach passengers of their cellphones when it reached near Bilawal Chowrangi, Clifton. One of the passengers alerted the police helpline by his cellphone and a police mobile rushed to the scene. A shootout ensued and the policy party overpowered the suspects identified as Qayyum and Mohammad Naseem.

Besides a TT pistol and a dagger, four cellphones snatched from the passengers were recovered from their possession.
