KARACHI: Ban lifted

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 18: The government of Sindh has lifted the ban imposed on the circulation of a newspaper, Daily Islam.

The home department issued a notification on Tuesday withdrawing its Nov 11 notification imposing a ban on the circulation of the newspaper.

The order has been withdrawn on the condition that the newspaper would not contain any such material which could “inspire Jihadi outfits and youths to carry out terrorist attacks. And that it should not contain any material which may hurt sentiments of people belonging to any sect, religion or country. And that it would not publish anything that could harm national integration”.

The paper will have to submit three copies of the newspaper to the home department daily till further orders.
