MPA rejects proposed raise

LAHORE, Nov 17: Showing her disapproval of the reported increase in perks of the Punjab Assembly members, MPA Zobia Rubab Malik has written to Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal urging him to suspend the move.

At a time when people are failing to make their both ends meet, such a news will only irritate them, she argues, adding the speaker must take into confidence the relevant authorities on the damages the likely move may cause. — Staff Reporter
